Fall is my favourite season. I love the changing of the leaves, the yummy foods and the bright colours of pumpkins and fall flowers. I have always wanted to do a fall display at the front door and have always had to settle for just a few pumpkins. This year I have more time for such things ;) and so the kids and I had some fun today setting up our front step. Delaney insisted on getting these two scarecrows, one for her and one for Dav, and setting them up this way. They're holding hands. :)

I wish I could see this display in person - it looks fantastic! AND, if I was at your house on your steps, that would mean I would get to see you soon!!
I love fall too: The crisp, fresh air, the beauty of nature, fall fairs and everything to do with agriculture (combines especially). It also seems to be a time of excitement and potential - programs and school starting up again. My university falls, especially, were the best! Thanks for the post and for stirring up some great memories!
