recent stuff

It's been a while so I thought I'd just post a few random photos from the last weeks. Things have been very busy with work and special events, etc. and I'll be so happy when it's SUMMER!

Delaney has been enjoying soccer this year, she has an EXCELLENT coach ;) and she has been eager to play which is nice. She has even played goalie several times which she never would have dreamed of doing last season.

Here she is in goal, dancing around. :)

















We've had the little pool on the back deck most weekends and the kids have had a grand old time splashing around. For some reason Davin really enjoys jumping in cannonball style even though it's the hard wood deck underneath! I managed to snap him mid jump a couple of times.


































The kids have been playing together really nicely (for the most part!) lately which is so great. I think Delaney has realized that her little brother can actually be more fun than annoying if she treats him right. After all, he'll pretty much do anything she says, he adores her so completely.

Greece, anyone?

Okay, last post for tonight. I'm supposed to be marking!

Last June Stephen and I went on a fabulous Mediterranean cruise and we booked it last minute for half price. It was amazing!

I couldn't resist looking at the site to see what the prices are looking like for this year. I was interested in taking a similar cruise, but this time one that goes to the Greek Islands. Well, the prices are on their way down! It's not going to happen for us this year, but I just had to share the link in case anyone is interested!

We went on the MSC Sinfonia, Western Med. cruise. I'm dreaming about the MSC Musica to Greece!

soccer girl

I'm sad to say there are no photos for this story, but Delaney got 2 goals at her soccer game on Saturday! Last season she was hesitant to play but this year she is more excited and confident. Plus she towers over many of her teammates!
Anyway, last year we had the camera out all the time and this year I guess the novelty has worn off and no soccer photos have been taken yet. We'll have the camera at the next game for sure!

Sunday

It's been a while, and so I thought I'd share some photos from the weekend. We celebrated Stephen's parents' 45th anniversary on Sunday and Dav was excited to wear a crown and eat ice cream. :) After all the excitement he was worn out and fell asleep like this on the floor. He is sporting a dapper new haircut too, I might add! :)
