Delaney is really into playing with Fisher Price Little People right now and I LOVE it. She sets it all up and talks in all the different voices of all the people. Here she has the animals set up inside the fence and people gathered all around looking at them.The main reason why we have so much of this set (farm, house, airplane, school bus, parking garage, etc.) is because I had the little people village when I was a kid and have such fond memories of it. I spent hours playing with that village. In fact when I decided to blog about this I googled the village and came up with a few photos of it - they brought a tear to my eye! (ha ha just kidding) So here it is, the 1974 vintage Little people village. It was so cool. I also found a photo of the Barbie cruise ship but that's a whole other story that I'll save for another day. :)

That does bring back memories. Glad to see they have made the people so they aren't a choking hazard anymore!

Brought back memories to me as well. Sniff! Sniff! boohoo! My kids are all grown up but when my foster grand-kids were down I got out the Fisher Price stuff. They loved it as well. So then I was not so sad but very happy!!

OMG!! My Mother still has our village that we played with when we were little. I actually laughed out loud when I read your post. I too loved to play with that little village. REmember mailing letters? Tell me what great memories that brings back...seriously!!
