BEACH DAY!

After last week's weather I was anxious to take advantage of a sunny day! I've been wanting to go to Sandbanks as a family because I knew the kids would just love the sand and the waves.

I had to capture a photo of this path ... as a kid I remember the paths over the hill to the beach are always your first sensation of sand between your toes, the trees and beach grass blowing in the breeze, and you eagerly climb to the top to catch your first glimpse of the blue water and white sand. So exciting!

The kids had a great time playing in the sand. What could be better than the largest sandbox you can imagine? :) Dav wasn't so sure about the waves at first but then had fun jumping around. Delaney loved sitting in the shallows and having the waves crash into her.

On the way home she asked "when can we go back?"
